DESCRIPTION:
WiSpan™ is an Ethernet to Wireless Bridge, that allows a wired Ethernet device to use a wireless 802.11b/g network.  Its built-in IEEE 802.11i-compliant security ensures data privacy and integrity, and it features a rugged design and wide temperature range to easily handle harsh environments. 

WiSpan is a turnkey solution that includes the necessary cables, power supply and antenna to rapidly and easily enable industry standard 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity for Ethernet-ready devices. It includes an industry-standard RJ45 10/100 Ethernet port and an 802.11 b/g radio that converts Ethernet data into wireless data. And to enable access to a local network or the Internet, WiSpan integrates a fully developed TCP/IP network stack and OS. 

With a ruggedized design and wide operating temperature range (from -40°C to 70°C), it is ideally suited for harsh conditions or environments such as warehouses, factories or on commercial vehicles.  Lantronix WBG1000001-01.
